In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Hilliard; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Ohio are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hilliard is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Hilliard follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Ye’s Asian Kitchen is my kind of spot — authentic Chinese food done right and a carry out experience that couldn’t have been smoother. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it hit every note. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce had that classic balance of sweet and tangy that you want from a great sweet and sour, and the portions were generous. Exactly what you’re looking for when you want a satisfying carry out meal without any compromises on quality. The lady at the front was incredibly nice — warm, welcoming, and made the whole pickup experience pleasant from the moment I walked in. That kind of genuine hospitality on top of great food is what turns a one time visit into a regular spot. Quick pickup, delicious food, great service — Ye’s Asian Kitchen checks every box. If you’re in Columbus and craving authentic Chinese food this is the place to go. The sweet and sour chicken alone is worth the trip. Hidden gem in Columbus. Don’t sleep on this one.

Their full Chinese menu is back and better than ever! Don't waste any more time. Go to Ye's and explore and enjoy some marvelous Chinese food. This may not be your typical Chinese spot, but I can now vouch for many of their dishes. Simply outstanding and a great value. High quality ingredients treated with care. You won't leave hungry or disappointed

This is a must stop. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. Family and kid friendly. Plenty of seating and the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is something here for everyone and they do make some authentic Asian dishes. I had the stir fried rice noodle and hot sour soup very good and the portion sizes are large.

Even the carnivores in your group will love this place! My son is vegetarian and the rest of our family eats at least some meat. We live in Hilliard and this is our new #1 choice for local Asian food. Wish we had tried it sooner!

I've been supporting this business since they've opened. I posted a review 4 years ago but I wanted to re-do it to really say how much I love this place. Everything I've had here is absolutely delicious. I've tried a ton from the menu over the years. In the pictures are the summer rolls, pineapple friend rice, and the last picture is of the seitan skewer. The skewers are one of my favorites from Ye's. The pineapple friend rice are probably a new favorite of mine! I highly recommended this restaurant. Tons of vegan, vegetarian, and even gluten-free options here! Staff is also always friendly, so another win! Try this place, you won't regret it. Update: I will leave my previous review but I'm very disappointed in this restaurant.. Their vegan food was great and they switched to serving meat and seafood which is a strange business move. People raved about this place, including myself. Sad that they decided to do this. They were one of my favorite vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Columbus for YEARS. If they wanted to go this route, they should have just rebranded everything entirely. Those who are veg or have allergies are no longer safe to eat here without worries of cross-contaminati
